TIME IS (not) ON MY SIDE.

How many times has a client said “I need this for yesterday”? I know, no need to answer. And then, what is to be done? Assessing the case is the first thing you do. You get the content and based upon it and within the time frame you think of a concept. You prepare mockups and submit them for the first comments. No time to waste, so fast feedback is required. When the design is revised and approved you go to production. Then, you realize that there are some files missing, displaced or they never existed. Or worse, that previous designer didn’t leave you the password to access the only computer with the crucial piece of the content before leaving for Hawaii. And that some additional photography is yet to be done. And that time flies. So, what you do? You said you would take care of it. So, you sit down and you eat an apple. You crack the password and you find all the files. You take all necessary photos. You finish it and you delivered it as promised. Because it’s how it’s supposed to be when you are a pro.

So, what is the time frame we were talking about?
Oh, it was for yesterday :)

No one likes to work with time constrains. But sometimes, circumstances dictate, and there is no much you can do about it. So you accept the job or not. If you do, you could bet on it that it would be much more complicated than perceived in the first place. If there is a slight chance that something will go wrong, it will, no doubt about it.

But, ones everything has it been done you feel great. And that’s priceless. Trust me.
