12 CONVERSATIONS ABOUT CREATIVITY

Vancouver BC, Canada, October 22, 2010 (PR.com)
Barcelona Media design, a leading-edge marketing agency in downtown Vancouver specializing in print and electronic media design, launches a thought-provoking website featuring twelve intriguing interviews with local creatives from diverse business backgrounds in pursuit of answers regarding creativity.

What happens when several unique individuals are asked about their own creativity?

Dragan Nikodijevic, creative director and founder of Barcelona Media Design, says:

"I've always been interested in the creative process and spent a good part of my life surrounded by extremely creative people, yet many questions remain unanswered. Once you start asking yourself about creativity, the only thing that is clear is that everyone has a different story to tell. We are all inquisitive meaning that we are all creative. But, what does it really mean? What does the creative process involve? It starts with a question, that's for sure, but then what happens? Do we really know it? Is it about methodology or about chaos? Do artists think like business people? Right brain, left brain? Can creativity be learned? How? Does the environment play a role? Is Vancouver a creative city? And so on… This led me to an interesting idea involving video discussions with local creative people on this theme and their thoughts, and as a start - using a dedicated website to communicate their answers, their process and perspective. So I did it. And now, I believe it is only the beginning of something much bigger."

The good thing about these creative dialogues is that there are no right or wrong answers. Everybody has a point of view and the topic itself does not have an expiry date. So, whether you watch these dialogues now, next year or in ten years time, it doesn't really matter - the mystery of creativity remains infinite.

The web page itself has links to dedicated sites on both YouTube and Facebook - so pursue your curiosity, check out these discussions...
And get creative...
